LawMint · Version 2.1 · Last updated: 11 September 2026
These terms govern LawMint.com and LawMint.net, including the LawMint learning platform, related course information and resources, and purchases made through either website. “LawMint”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean LawMint. “You” means the person using our services or purchasing access.
1. Contact and business information
LawMint, 303, Sterling Court, Balamrai, Secunderabad, Telangana, India – 500003.
Email: hello@lawmint.com. Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., India Standard Time, excluding public holidays.
You may contact us by email whether or not you have an account. Logged-in users may also use the contact form.
2. Agreement and information before purchase
Please read these terms and the Privacy Policy before registering or purchasing. By registering or placing an order, you agree to the terms presented to you. Optional marketing or cookie consent is separate from acceptance of these terms.
The course description and checkout information shown for your purchase form part of your agreement. They identify the product, price, access period and any stated limits. A specific promise made for your purchase takes precedence over a conflicting general description in these terms. Mandatory rights under applicable law take precedence over both.
3. Accounts and eligibility
Use accurate registration and billing information and keep access to your sign-in account secure. Google sign-in is used to identify and authenticate your account; never send us your Google password, payment PIN or one-time password.
Each learner must use their own account. Sharing, selling or transferring account access, or creating additional accounts to evade restrictions or obtain offers improperly, is prohibited. If you accidentally create duplicate accounts, contact us for assistance.
If country or other account details are incorrect and cannot be edited on the site, contact us before purchasing. Do not provide an incorrect location to obtain pricing or avoid applicable taxes.
Users under 18 may use the educational content. All purchases for a user under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian who is authorised to use the selected payment method. The parent or guardian must review the course details and these terms before purchasing and provide any consent required by applicable law for the child's use of the service and handling of personal information. A child's ability to access free material is not permission to make an unauthorised purchase.
4. What course access includes
Access is to the online resources described for the purchased course. Unless explicitly included, a purchase does not include tutoring, examination registration, an official qualification, printed materials or access to other courses.
The applicable access period, start date, attempt limits and renewal terms are those disclosed for the purchase. Check them before paying; if any are unclear, contact us. Access ending does not itself create a right to a refund, subject to your statutory rights and the refund provisions below.
Payment verification is required before paid access is granted. If payment succeeds but access is missing, contact us with your account email, course name and payment reference. Please avoid making a second payment solely because access is delayed. We will investigate and arrange access or an appropriate remedy.
An upgrade, renewal or existing-user offer applies only where shown and to the products and eligibility conditions described. Do not assume that an upgrade includes a credit for every earlier purchase or that a renewal extends from the previous expiry date unless this is stated for the offer.
5. Prices, payments and taxes
Prices may differ by course, offer, currency or billing country. Review the selected country, currency and total before authorising payment. Tax inclusion or additional tax must be disclosed in the course or checkout information. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own foreign-exchange or transaction charges.
Payments are handled through Razorpay and the payment providers involved in the payment method you select. Available payment methods depend on your location, bank and provider eligibility. The purchase is from LawMint; payment-provider processing does not remove our responsibility to resolve issues with the course we sold.
Future price changes do not alter the price of a completed purchase. Any recurring charge must be specifically disclosed and authorised; these terms do not independently authorise recurring billing.
For duplicate charges, an incorrect course purchase or a deducted payment without access, contact us promptly. We will review the transaction and available remedies. A failed or pending payment is not automatically a completed purchase; bank reversals and merchant refunds are different processes.
6. Refund policy
Change-of-mind requests
If you are unhappy with a purchased online course, you may request a refund during the three calendar days starting on the day after the purchase date, provided no more than two mock tests have been attempted. The request must reach us by 11:59 p.m. India Standard Time on the third day. For example, for a purchase on 10 September, the request deadline is 11:59 p.m. on 13 September.
This is the deadline to submit a request, not a promise that the refund will appear in your account within three days.
For this limit, a mock test counts as attempted when it is started, whether or not it is completed, submitted or later abandoned. Each newly started attempt counts, including a repeat attempt at the same test; resuming an existing attempt does not count as a new attempt. Free demo tests are excluded. The limit concerns attempts within the purchased course for which the refund is requested. If a technical error creates an incorrect attempt record, contact us so we can investigate it before deciding eligibility.
How to request a refund
Email hello@lawmint.com or use the contact form while logged in. Include your registered email, course name, purchase date and payment/order reference. You may explain the issue so we can help; do not include full card details, PINs or one-time passwords.
Refund requests are reviewed and processed manually by LawMint. We will confirm the outcome and, when a refund is approved, initiate it without undue delay and within any period required by applicable law. We will communicate the expected processing time with the approval. After initiation, the time for the money to appear depends on the payment method and bank. We will provide the available refund reference and help investigate an unexpected delay. Any legally required timeframe takes precedence.
An approved refund is normally returned through the original payment channel. If that is not possible, we will agree a lawful alternative with the purchaser. Access to the refunded course will be removed as part of completing the refund. Refunds do not automatically delete your account or remove access to separately purchased courses.
We may refuse a discretionary change-of-mind refund where there is evidence of fraud, deliberate misuse or ineligibility under the published conditions. We will explain the decision, and you may ask for a review.
Your statutory rights
The three-day and two-test conditions do not restrict remedies that applicable law requires for defective, materially misdescribed or undelivered services, duplicate charges or other qualifying problems. Contact us even if the change-of-mind period has expired.
If mandatory laws applicable to your purchase provide a longer cancellation period or additional rights, those rights remain available. Where a right may lawfully end when digital content is supplied immediately, any required express request, acknowledgement and confirmation must be obtained separately. These terms alone do not waive that right.
7. Technical requirements and interruptions
You need a suitable internet connection, a supported browser and access to the account used to sign in. Essential session cookies and JavaScript may be required for login, quizzes and checkout. Use a free demo where available to check suitability before purchase.
Maintenance, external provider problems and unexpected outages may interrupt access. We will take reasonable steps to restore affected services and investigate lost access or attempts. If we cannot provide a material part of what you purchased, we will offer an appropriate remedy, including an extension or refund where warranted or legally required.
8. Permitted use and intellectual property
Course access gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the materials for your own study during the applicable access period. Downloading or printing is permitted only where we provide that facility or give permission, and remains subject to the stated personal-use limits.
Do not republish, resell, distribute, systematically scrape or commercially exploit our questions, explanations, recordings or other protected materials without permission. Do not bypass access restrictions, interfere with assessments or attempt unauthorised access. These restrictions do not remove permissions or exceptions provided by applicable law.
LawMint and the respective rights holders retain their intellectual property. References to third-party marks, exam bodies or resources identify their subject matter and do not imply affiliation, approval or endorsement unless expressly stated. A reference to fair use does not establish that every reuse is permitted.
For copyright concerns, email us with the work concerned, the specific page or content, your contact details and the basis of your claim. We will investigate and take appropriate action. A DMCA notice may be used where that process applies; it is not the only way to report a concern.
9. Educational content and outcomes
Materials are study aids, not legal advice or a substitute for official exam notices. We do not guarantee a score, rank, admission, employment or examination result. Verify eligibility, syllabus, dates and other decisive information with the relevant authority.
Questions and explanations may contain errors or become outdated. Please report suspected errors. Exam-body changes do not automatically entitle you to a different product, but this does not override an update commitment or description forming part of your purchase. Disclaimers do not excuse failure to deliver the service promised or remove mandatory consumer protections.
10. Suspension and ending access
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, account sharing, security threats, serious misuse or a legal obligation. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the concern and give an opportunity to respond or correct it. Immediate restriction may be necessary to protect the service or other users.
You may request a review by email. Any decision about remaining paid access or a refund will take account of the reason for the restriction, the service supplied and applicable law. Account closure and personal-data deletion are addressed separately under the Privacy Policy.
11. Liability and mandatory protections
We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing our services. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept liability for business losses or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable consequences of our breach, or for matters outside our reasonable control where we have taken reasonable mitigating steps.
Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or other protected claims, or takes away mandatory consumer remedies. Responsibility for third-party services is assessed according to the circumstances and applicable law; using a third party does not automatically exclude our own responsibilities.
12. Support and complaints
We aim to respond to general enquiries within 48 hours, and course-access, purchase or technical enquiries within 6 hours. These are initial-response targets, not guaranteed resolution times. Office hours are stated above; statutory complaint deadlines are handled separately.
For a formal complaint or to request review of a support or refund decision, email hello@lawmint.com with the subject “Complaint – LawMint”, the relevant order or account details and the outcome you are seeking. You may use this route without logging in, including where access has been suspended.
We acknowledge formal consumer complaints within 48 hours and seek to resolve them within one month of receipt, or within any shorter period required by applicable law. We will keep you informed if further investigation is necessary; this does not extend a mandatory deadline. You may also use any competent consumer authority, helpline, commission or court available to you.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Indian law, subject to mandatory protections applicable to your purchase. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, have jurisdiction only to the extent they are legally competent and such a choice is permitted. Nothing prevents you from approaching a consumer commission, regulator or other forum available under mandatory law.
14. Changes and remaining provisions
We may update these terms for future use and purchases. Material changes affecting an existing agreement will be communicated and applied only as permitted by law; publishing an update does not retrospectively remove purchased entitlements or statutory rights.
Complimentary offers may be changed for future users, subject to commitments already made. If part of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions continue insofar as legally possible. Not enforcing a provision on one occasion does not waive it for every occasion.
Keep a copy of the terms and course information applicable to your order. For questions, email hello@lawmint.com.
